Disable macOS Gatekeeper
With the release of macOS 15, Apple has removed the option to easily disable Gatekeeper, a security feature designed to ensure only software from "Certified Developers" runs on your Mac. While Gatekeeper provides a useful layer of protection, it can pose problems to developers and power users.
In previous versions of macOS, there was an official Terminal command that permanently disabled Gatekeeper. That has been removed in favor of a multi-step process that only turns it off for 30 days. This website offers an alternative in form of a configuration profile that will force-disable Gatekeeper permanently.
